When planning your summer vacation, learn about what Senj and its region have to offer, besides the clean sea, fresh air, beautiful beaches, summer carnival and famous north-eastern wind (locally called bura). The famous national park Plitvice Lakes is less then an hour away from Senj (by car), and another national park – Northern Velebit is even closer.
You can easily reach Senj by car if you take the A1 highway from the continental Croatia or the Adriatic highway (Jadranska magistrala) from Rijeka towards Split.
